Help

The Stack keeps track of your Magic cards and what Card Kingdom will pay for them. These are the first questions people ask.

How do I get my cards in?

ManaBox is a phone app that scans your cards with the camera and keeps them in binders. Export a binder or your whole collection from it as CSV, or a list as text, and bring the file to Import.

No ManaBox? Use Add a card: search Scryfall by name, pick the printing you have, and choose its binder, finish, condition and copies.

Add to a binder or Sync a binder?

Add to a binder adds every line in the file, on top of what the binder already holds. Use it for cards you’ve just scanned.

Sync a binder makes one of your binders match the file. You see what’s new, missing and changed first; confirming adds the new cards and takes out the missing ones. Use it when you keep the binder up to date in ManaBox.

Either way, Import shows a preview, and nothing changes until you confirm it.

What do Card Kingdom’s prices mean?

The Buylist shows what Card Kingdom pays for one Near Mint, English copy of a card, and how many it wants. It pays less for copies that are played or not in English, so a price here is the most a copy can fetch. Card Kingdom’s list loads once a day. The market price beside it comes from TCGplayer, through Scryfall, and is only there for reference.

What are alerts, and the daily email?

An alert is a card you own or watch that Card Kingdom started buying, or pays 20% more for than a week ago. They show on the Buylist each morning. Only cards it pays at least your minimum for count: $1.00 unless you change it. A card that has alerted waits for another 20% rise before it alerts again, and cards in a pending sale never do.

The daily email sends them to you, only on mornings with new alerts. It’s on until you turn it off on your account page or from the link in any of the emails.

How do I sell to Card Kingdom?

Put cards on your sell list: a whole binder from its page, or one printing from a card’s Edit dialog, with a minimum price if you like. The sell list gives you a file to upload on Card Kingdom’s website.

When you send it, choose Sell these to Card Kingdom. That records a pending sale on Sales, and its cards are held until CK pays: they stay in your collection, but aren’t in the next upload and don’t alert. When CK has paid, confirm the sale with what it took and paid, and only the copies CK took leave your collection. If it falls through, cancel the sale and the cards are free again.

What is the watch list for?

Cards you want, or want more of. Your watch list shows what Card Kingdom pays for each and its market price, updated daily, without adding it to your collection.

How are decks different from binders?

A binder holds your copies. A deck is a list of cards to play, and it can hold cards you don’t own yet. Its page says which you have, in which binder, and what the rest would cost to buy. A deck never moves or holds your copies, and nothing you do in your binders changes what’s on it. Each deck is checked against its format’s rules (deck size, copies, banned cards and, for Commander, your commander’s colors), and you can still save one that isn’t legal.

Can I use The Stack from Claude?

Yes. Your account page has the connector’s URL: in Claude, add it as a custom connector (Settings, then Connectors), sign in here and choose Allow. Then you can ask about your cards in a chat.

Claude can read your collection, prices, sell list, watch list, alerts and your decks, with what you’re missing for each and whether it’s legal in its format. It can give you a deck’s list to paste into MTG Arena or MTGO, the same list Export the deck gives you on its page, and make a few small changes when you ask: add a single card, put a card or a binder on your sell list or take it off, mark your alerts read, watch or unwatch a card, and add a card to a deck, move it or take it out. Imports, syncs and sales stay on this site. Disconnect it from your account page at any time.

Can I undo a change?

Yes. Every import, sync, edit and confirmed sale is listed in All changes, newest first. Open one and choose Undo this change to put its cards back as they were. If a newer change touched the same cards, undo that one first.

How do I delete my account?

On your account page, choose Delete my account and type your email to confirm. Your collection, its history and your sign-in go straight away, and it can’t be undone. The privacy note says what that covers.

Anything else: ask the person who invited you.
